About this event
An early Halloween event, "Marugame Castle Fun 2026 ~Halloween~", will be held at Marugame Castle, known for having the tallest stone walls in Japan. Organized by the Marugame City Tourism Association to help local children and many others feel closer to Marugame Castle, this is the first time the event will feature a Halloween theme. On the day, a stage will be set up at Otemon Square, featuring powerful dance performances. At the end of the event, a Halloween dance is scheduled for all visitors to enjoy together. Furthermore, workshops for making accessories and snow globes will be offered at Ote Ichinomon Gate, providing experiences that stimulate creativity. In addition, a market will be held so that even those who are not particularly interested in castles can enjoy the entire day. The organizers encourage visitors to come in costume and enjoy the event.
