41st World of Contemporary Children's Art Exhibition & Concurrent 2026 Contemporary Children's Art Junior Exhibition

About this event

The "41st World of Contemporary Children's Art Exhibition," displaying paintings and prints by naive art artists from across Japan, is held concurrently with the "2026 Contemporary Children's Art Junior Exhibition," showcasing children's artworks broadly submitted from nursery schools, certified center for early childhood education and care facilities, kindergartens, and elementary schools in Kagawa Prefecture. Naive art aims to express a pure heart, and visitors can appreciate numerous poetic artworks depicting children's imagery as pure expressions of the soul. On Sundays during the exhibition period, the art appreciation program "Fairy's Treasure Box" will also be held, offering children a hands-on experience to immerse themselves in the world of paintings and expand their imagination. In this program, set around the scenario of returning treasures stolen by fairies back into the paintings, participants select a treasure and a painting, and freely imagine and share the reasons why the treasure belonged in that painting. Participation is free and no advance registration is required.
