Held as the largest autumn festival in Ozu City, the 'Ozu Festival' is an event where visitors can enjoy parades, stage events, and lively food stalls. One of the highlights of the festival, 'Onari', takes place on the second day, where participants dress in historical costumes and march through the city in steps mimicking the sankin-kotai (daimyo's alternate-year attendance procession).
