Special Exhibition: Noritake Suzuki 'Great Pinch Exhibition!'

About this event

This exhibition lets visitors experience the world of picture book author Noritake Suzuki's popular series 'The Great Pinch Encyclopedia' (Dai Pinch Zukan). Various 'pinches' (sticky situations) from the books are brought to life in three dimensions, allowing visitors to step into, think through, and jump into these challenges while finding fun ways to overcome them. From children to adults, everyone can experience everyday 'Oh no!' moments that anyone can relate to as humor- and creativity-filled 'pinch entertainment.' The venue will also feature exhibits revealing the secrets behind Suzuki's creative process and, for the first time, an original panel exhibition by the Fukuoka City Science Museum titled 'Overcoming Pinches with Science!', providing inspiration for independent research projects. Based on Suzuki's motto, 'When you find things interesting, your world expands,' discover the joy of laughing off life's pinches at this exhibition exploring new horizons.
