About this event
This is a walking event visiting scenic spots in Shingu Town. Starting from JR Fukukodaimae Station, the route visits scenic views from Minatozaka Observation Park, the Shingu Coast with its white sands and green pines, and the Tate-no-Matsubara pine grove. The distance is approximately 5.0 km, with a required time of about 2 hours. As a beginner-level course, anyone can easily participate even if they are not confident in their physical strength. Highlights include the view from Minatozaka Observation Park, the white sands and green pines of the Shingu Coast and Tate-no-Matsubara, and Shingu Shrine enshrined within the pine forest. The participation fee is 500 yen, payable in cash on the day. Items to bring are trail snacks, drinks, a towel, and comfortable clothes and walking shoes. The event will proceed in light rain and be canceled in severe weather.
