About this event
The 19th Kotake Furusato Marathon will be held on Sunday, October 18, 2026. The venue is the cycling road under Otoku Bridge (Onga River riverbed). In this marathon event, a variety of divisions are prepared for children to adults to enjoy. Grades 1 and 2 elementary school students can participate in the 1 km division, grades 3 and 4 in the 1.5 km division, and grades 5 and 6 in the 2 km division. Furthermore, junior high school students and older can take on the 3 km division, and high school students and older can enter the 5 km division. Entry is free of charge, welcoming many participants. Reception runs from 9:00 AM to 9:40 AM, and the opening ceremony begins at 9:40 AM. The application deadline was Monday, August 31, 2026.
