Mizuta Tenmangu Chigo Furyu is a prefecturally designated cultural property Shinto performing art with a history of over 600 years. In this traditional event praying for bountiful harvests, children dressed in shaguma (red wigs) and jinbaori (camp coats) parade around the shrine while beating drums. Their heroic appearance and the traditional culture deeply rooted in the local community leave a profound impression on visitors.
