About this event
"Funagoya Rock Fes Vol. 9," held at the Outdoor Stage in Chikugo Wide Area Park in Chikugo City, Fukuoka Prefecture, is an event planned with the desire to provide amateur bands with opportunities to perform outdoors. As a free live concert in an open-air setting, visitors can invite family and friends to enjoy all-day live music across diverse bands in a picnic atmosphere. The area around the venue features hot springs, restaurants, souvenir shops, a barbecue area, and playground equipment for children, providing plenty of spots to enjoy throughout the day. Conceived as an outdoor festival crafted by the performers themselves, this event will be held on Sunday, October 4, 2026. The performing lineup includes P'z MOVE OVER, Hard Smoker music, 2nd Unlimited, kill Monster, Mishmash Crew & the "murmur studio" Sessions, evoke, Okuma Eleki (Kanreki), LO-GUN'S, and more. The event is organized by the FMC Fukuoka Music Coalition (FMC Fukuoka Ongaku Renmei), supported by Studio Rising, and co-hosted by the Chikugo City Tourism Association. Food and beverage stalls will also be featured to enliven the event.
