About this event
In conjunction with Dementia Awareness Month in September, Ogori City is hosting the "Dementia Orange Festa" to promote proper understanding, knowledge, and awareness of dementia. At this festival, a screening of the dementia-themed movie "The Song That Never Ends Between My Father and Me" (Chichi to Boku no Owaranai Uta) will be held. There will also be a cognitive function self-checker to test one's own cognitive abilities, information provision regarding the adult guardianship system, and introductions and exhibits of facilities such as group homes. Furthermore, experiential booths will be set up, including estimated vegetable intake measurements via Vege-Check, vascular age testing, Brainercize, and brain-training games, offering an opportunity to learn about dementia in a fun and engaging way.
