This theatrical performance depicts events from approximately 1,100 years ago when Sugawara no Michizane, who was exiled from the capital, passed through the land of Ono on his journey to Dazaifu. Through the story of a villager who called out to Lord Michizane and his entourage, who were exhausted both physically and mentally, visitors can reflect on Lord Michizane, who left his footprint in Yamada, Onojo City. This production is a regular performance by the Onojo Citizen Theater Troupe Maigoza, offering a valuable opportunity to experience local history and culture through the medium of theater.
