50th Nakagawa Citizens' Festival

Held in Nakagawa City, Fukuoka Prefecture, the 50th Nakagawa Citizens' Festival is a popular annual summer event cherished by local residents. Boasting nearly 50 years of history and tradition, it bustles with many visitors every year. The climax of the festival is marked by the launching of approximately 2,000 fireworks. Fireworks launched simultaneously from two locations are full of power and dynamism. In addition, around 30 food trucks gather at the venue, allowing visitors to enjoy a wide variety of gourmet foods. On the main stage, diverse performances including singing, dancing, and musical instruments will unfold, uniting the entire venue in excitement. A grand Bon dance circling around the yagura tower will also be held, making it a wonderful memory to color a summer night.
