Held on Saturday, October 24 and Sunday, October 25, 2026 (Reiwa 8), 'The 55th Sasaguri Town Cultural Festival' is an event that adds color to autumn, where visitors can enjoy stage performances, exhibition of works, and various festivities. On the first day, Saturday, October 24, the 'Kurikko Piano Concert' is scheduled for about 2 hours starting at 10:30 in the lobby of Create Sasaguri. In addition, an opening ceremony with doors opening at 12:30 and starting at 13:00 will be held in the Create Sasaguri Main Hall on the same day, featuring a Sasaguri Town Wind Orchestra concert and a Paper Balloon (Kami Fusen) concert. The opening ceremony will be hosted by Yuumi Takagi, a Hometown Tourism Ambassador. Admission is free, and wheelchair seating is also available. Sign language interpretation will be provided for parts of the event.
