About this event
The "Library Festival 2026," listed on the official Hirokawa Town website, is a collaborative event held alongside the "Hirokawa Festival" and the "Human Rights Festa." On the day of the event, special storytelling sessions by the storytelling groups "Kirara" and "Tamatebako" will be held in the "Story Forest" inside the library. Additionally, at the outdoor Hirokawa Festival venue, a "Book Recycle - Used Book Fair" will take place in the parking lot in front of the Ikotto Town Community Center, where visitors can take home used books without limit. Furthermore, an e-library experience will be offered at the same venue, allowing visitors to try out the "Hirokawa Digital Library." Those who experience the digital library will receive a "Machiko-chan Keyring." Children of elementary school age and younger who participate in the storytelling sessions will also receive a "Machiko-chan Keyring" as a special gift.
