TOSU NESTIVAL 2026

About this event

"TOSU NESTIVAL 2026", an urban co-creation festival hosted by Tosu City, will be held. Designed to generate vitality in the area east of Tosu Station, the festival centers around "NESTOPIA," a massive bird-nest-shaped installation inspired by the nest of the Japanese white-eye, the city bird. First held in 2025 and attracting over 70,000 visitors, the second edition in 2026 will serve as a co-creation festival fostering new charms and possibilities for Tosu through collaborations with citizens, prefecture residents, and corporations. In addition to the exhibition and illumination of the giant installation, the event will feature three hands-on interactive experiences inside eggs, "Nest Market" with uniquely diverse shops, "Nest Stage" featuring popular artists and local dance teams, and "Nest Park" offering hands-on experiences in partnership with various corporations. A "Sports Collaboration" with Sagan Tosu and SAGA Hisamitsu Springs is also scheduled. Admission is free, though food, drinks, and select activities inside the venue may incur separate fees. Businesses and organizations wishing to participate in the event are also being recruited.
