About this event
Held in Kashima City, "Wildlife Survey & Energy-Saving Action" is an event based around Roadside Station Kashima (Michi-no-Eki Kashima) where participants can enjoy learning about nature and the environment. In the wildlife survey using the Biome app, explore around Hizen-Nanaura Station and Tenshi Shrine (satoyama waterway) to look for creatures and photograph them with the app. After the survey, visit the shaved ice booth to receive a shopping voucher. At the Energy-Saving Action booth, you can pedal a cycle chair to generate electricity and make shaved ice using that power. It is a unique program where you can experience energy conservation firsthand while eating shaved ice made by your own effort. In addition, the "Kashima Wildlife Instagram Photo Campaign" will be held concurrently, giving those who post with the specified hashtag a chance to win local specialties of Kashima City via lottery. This event is a great opportunity to raise interest in nature and learn about energy saving in a fun way.
