Yutoku Inari Shrine Reconstruction Commemoration Festival

About this event

This festival commemorates the completion of the reconstruction works of Yutoku Inari Shrine. The main sanctuary, shrine office, and other buildings were destroyed by fire in May 1949, but through approximately 20 years of efforts, they were rebuilt, and the grand festival has been held since 1970. Despite the difficult post-war period, the reconstruction was achieved through the strong desire of the people for recovery. This festival is an important event connecting that history and the heartfelt sentiments of the local community to the future.
