Held at the East Gate Large Parking Lot of Yoshinogari Historical Park, the "Yoshinogari Yume Roman Light Truck Market" is a morning market where light trucks (kei trucks) handling agricultural products, seafood, crafts, and more gather from inside and outside the prefecture. It will be held on Sunday, October 4, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM, and the East Gate Parking Lot and the 1st Temporary Parking Lot are available free of charge for standard vehicles. Organized by the Yoshinogari Yume Roman Light Truck Market Executive Committee, led by the Yoshinogari Town Chamber of Commerce and Industry and other groups, this event is held in principle on the first Sunday of every month. Rows of light trucks with their truck beds styled as shopfronts line up, offering the appeal of purchasing freshly picked vegetables and fruits, fresh seafood, handmade crafts, and more directly from producers. In autumn especially, seasonal delicacies such as new rice, persimmons, and chestnuts can be enjoyed. Popular items sell out quickly, so arriving for the 8:00 AM start is recommended. After shopping, visitors can also enjoy a stroll through the historical park. Note that in January and May only, the event date is moved to the second Sunday.
