About this event
The popular "Kawatana Marche" will be held in Kawatana Town. At the venue, locally grown seasonal agricultural produce and "Nagasaki Wagyu" beef supported by JA Nagasaki Seikai will be on sale. In particular, the rare "Ogushi Tomato," also called the "phantom tomato" due to its small number of growers, is a must-see. At the food and beverage booths, visitors can enjoy light meals and sweets unique to the marche. Additionally, a fun raffle and entertaining activities for children—such as "Shake the Net of Ogushi Tomatoes," a "True/False Quiz," and a "Wagyu Race"—are prepared. Furthermore, there is a "Hitotana-ichi" corner where people can sell vegetables grown in home gardens, garden flowers, handmade goods, and more, displaying original items from each seller. It is a marche perfect for an early summer outing where the whole family can fully enjoy a day together.
