About this event
In conjunction with Dementia Awareness Month in September, Hiji Town will host the "Hiji Town Orange Fest." On the day of the event, there will be a screening of the movie "The Father and My Endless Song," which depicts an emotional true story about a father with Alzheimer's and his son creating music together. In addition, an exhibition corner featuring artworks created by elementary and high school students (Dementia Supporters) and a corner introducing books related to dementia will be set up. This event aims to deepen understanding of dementia and foster a community-wide mindset of mutual support. Admission is free, and no advance registration is required, but admission is limited to the first 200 visitors. It will be held at Hiji Town Central Community Center, which is fully equipped with parking facilities.
