About this event
The "2026 Yaeyama Industry Festival" is an event designed to widely promote the industries and specialty products of the Yaeyama region. A wide variety of appealing local products produced, manufactured, and processed in Ishigaki City, Taketomi Town, and Yonaguni Town—such as agricultural and marine goods, processed foods, handicrafts, and cosmetics—will gather in one place. Held under the 2026 theme "Chimu Dondon Miryoku Ippai Yaimamun!" (Heart-pounding and full of charm, Yaeyama treasures!), the festival plans to feature an indoor specialty goods sales area, as well as outdoor food stalls and food trucks. This festival serves as an important opportunity to revitalize the economy of the Yaeyama region and showcase the appeal of its local resources.
