Workshop: Let's Build the National Museum of Nature and Science Japan Gallery!

About this event

This workshop uses architectural paper craft produced by the National Museum of Nature and Science to build the National Museum of Nature and Science Japan Gallery. The Japan Gallery of the National Museum of Nature and Science is shaped like an airplane when viewed from above and was a symbol of state-of-the-art science and technology at the time. In this workshop, through crafting elaborate paper craft, participants will deepen their understanding of the functionality and artistic quality of museum architecture. In addition, highlights of the Urasoe Art Museum, whose building itself can be called a work of art, will also be introduced. The target audience is elementary school students and older (accompanied by a guardian for ages 10 and under), with a capacity of 8 people per session. The participation fee is 1,000 yen (including material costs).
