About this event
Held at Saruka Park in Hirakawa City, the "Onoe Autumn Festival" features the display of two neputa floats from the Onoe area of Hirakawa City as its main highlight. At night, the neputa floats are illuminated, enveloping the scene in a magical atmosphere. Visitors can also enjoy stage events by local children from the Onoe area and workshops such as a hayashi (festival music) experience by Hoyokai and fan-making crafts. Local eateries such as Shirogane Coffee, Tagosuke, and CORON will also open stalls, enlivening the festival atmosphere. Furthermore, visitors who arrive at the venue by Konan Railway can take advantage of a special discount campaign using Wani-Sapo, making the return fare 100 yen. Carp food will also be given as a gift, making it enjoyable for children as well. Since the parking lot in front of Sarukaso will be closed to traffic on the day of the event, using the Hilltop Parking Lot, North Parking Lot, or Temporary Parking Lot (Saruka Community Center) is recommended.
