Chitose City Airport Centenary Commemorative Citizens' Parade

About this event

A citizens' parade held to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the opening of Chitose City Airport. Schoolchildren, civic groups, and various organizations will parade near Chitose Station while performing music and artistic routines. The parade aims to create a memorable and wonderful day where children can pass on the 'pride of having an airport' to future generations, and citizens can genuinely feel glad to live in Chitose, the 'City of the Sky.' The Tokyo Disney Resort® Special Parade is also scheduled to participate in the parade, and the Duffy Bus will be on display. Held along an approximately 1-kilometer route from Chuo Odori to Ekimae Dori, food stalls and open-air booths will also line the streets.
