About this event
At the 80th National Sports Festival 'Blue Sparkle Aomori National Sports Festival' to be held in Aomori Prefecture in 2026 (Reiwa 8), the Rubber Baseball Competition (Adult Men) will be held in Rokunohe Town. This tournament is the largest domestic sports festival in Japan held annually on a rotating basis among prefectures, and will be hosted in Aomori Prefecture for the first time in 49 years. In addition to Rokunohe Town, the Rubber Baseball Competition will also be held in Aomori City, Misawa City, Oirase Town, and Rokkasho Village. In Rokunohe Town, the Rokunohe Town General Sports Park Baseball Stadium (Maple Stadium) will serve as the venue, where heated matches will unfold from October 11 (Sun) to 13 (Tue), 2026. Elite athletes gathered from all over the country are expected to stage exciting games aiming to be number one in Japan this autumn.
