On Sunday, August 30, 2026, the 'Rias Wave Festival 2026' will be held throughout the entire Ofunato City Cultural Center and Public Library Rias Hall. From 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a diverse range of activities that can be enjoyed by both children and adults is planned. In the Main Hall, a free 'Challenge Live Concert' will take place, featuring Akai Band, Hon Mura Saki, THE RETRO BOYS, Crayon (Mitch), Nyanko Aikokai, and 'M'. In addition, a flea market will be held in the Main Hall foyer and entrance, and the parking lot will be lined with stalls including Marukan Coffee, Sugar Kay (crepes), Street Food Lab (chicken kebabs, karaage fried chicken), Cafe de Curry KOJIKA, and more. A variety of hands-on activities are also available, such as the 'Library Craft Workshop' organized by the Ofunato City Library, the 'Kids' Tea Ceremony' in the 1st floor conference room (400 yen tea ticket), and vascular age measurement at the entrance to the 1st floor Factory Zone (free). *End times vary depending on the activity.
