"Sendai Classical Festival 2026" (Senkura) is a festival of classical music held in Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture. Over three days from Friday, October 2 to Sunday, October 4, 2026, as many as 77 concerts will be staged across multiple venues, including the Concert Hall, Theater Hall, Exchange Hall, and Performance Square. This year, 19 groups of artists are participating in Senkura for the first time, offering performances in diverse genres such as piano, violin, cello, and poetry recitation. Thoughtful arrangements have been made so that even first-time classical concertgoers can easily enjoy the event, including recommended "hop-on routes" to tour multiple performances. Tickets are priced between 1,500 yen and 2,500 yen for general admission and 800 yen to 1,500 yen for U-18, and can be purchased via Ticket Pia, 7-Eleven, and venue box offices. It is an event that enlivens autumn in Sendai, offering encounters with a wide range of music and artists.
