Sendai & Tohoku Gourmet Expo

Gathering delicious gourmet food and culture from the six prefectures of Tohoku at Ogimachi Park in Osaka City, the "Sendai & Tohoku Gourmet Expo" will be held for the first time. Pride-worthy specialties from each prefecture will assemble, including kiritanpo from Akita Prefecture, various fruits from Fukushima Prefecture, and beef tongue from Miyagi Prefecture, as well as scallop skewers and oyster skewers from Aomori Prefecture, hitsumi soup and Tono jingisukan (grilled mutton) from Iwate Prefecture, and Yamagata imoni (taro and beef stew), La France pears, and Shine Muscat grapes from Yamagata Prefecture. In addition, festivals from Tohoku and local mascot characters from the six Tohoku prefectures will appear, presenting an appealing lineup of stage content. Admission is free, making it an event where you can fully savor the appeal of Tohoku's rich food culture. Alongside delicious food, numerous crafts and souvenirs are also available.
