About this event
Sendai Astronomical Observatory's mobile observatory vehicle 'Vega' is coming to Sanno District Community Center in Tagajo City. This is a precious opportunity to observe the moon and stars shining in the autumn night sky using a large astronomical telescope. What will be visible is a surprise for the day! If stargazing proves difficult, an indoor lecture-style program will be conducted instead. The program is open to elementary and junior high school students residing in the city and their guardians, with free participation. Applications are accepted via the city's official LINE account from 9:00 AM on Friday, August 28 until Wednesday, September 16. Please bring writing materials, indoor shoes, and hydration drinks.
