About this event
Held in Tomiya City, Miyagi Prefecture, "Tomiyado Halloween" will take place on Saturday, October 31, 2026, at the Tomiya Inn Tourism and Exchange Station "Tomiyado". On the day, visitors can enjoy stage events such as a kids' dance show and a magic show. In particular, during the kids' dance show starting at 11:30, children from "7color dance studio" based in Furukawa, Osaki City, will perform energetic dances, with a session planned afterward where the audience can dance along. Starting at 14:00, Magician Ian, who has over 27 years of magic experience, will present a magic show that parents and children can enjoy together. Furthermore, at 15:00, candy tossing will take place to hype up the venue. A Halloween Marché will also be held on-site, featuring a variety of shops selling handmade goods, baked treats, and hosting workshops. Visitors can enjoy workshops such as handprint and footprint art, candle making, and resin accessory crafting. Participating shops will offer limited Halloween menus, including fun-looking options like mamemaru+'s "Return of Halo-chan & Gomaron", Marutan Shokudo's "Zombie Ramen", and EIGHT CROWNS' "Halloween Croffle". Additionally, Tomiyado-yaki Kunpu will host a "Halloween Lampshade Making Experience" and a "Pumpkin and Cat Plate Painting Experience". Special perks like candy gifts are prepared for visitors arriving in costume, alongside Halloween photo spots, making it an event that children and adults can enjoy all day long. A "Vegetable Stamp" activity using vegetable scraps to create original artwork will also be held, allowing visitors to savor the atmosphere of an autumn harvest festival celebrating the season's bounties.
