About this event
Held at the Kahoku Town General Exchange Center Sahato Benibana in Yamagata Prefecture, "Sahato Summer Fest 2026" is a primarily indoor family event. It will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2026, from 10:00 to 16:00, with free admission. In the event, "Super Musical Chairs" for parents and children and a "Treasure Hunt Game" open to junior high school students and younger will take place in each session. In the outdoor lawn area, a "Survival Game Experience" will be held where participants battle with infrared radar guns. In the cool dome, "Hanabirium" lets you enjoy 360-degree all-sky fireworks with an immersive feeling as if looking up at fireworks from directly below. In addition, a "Board Game Plaza" where you can play various board games from around the world and a "Market" gathering about 40 gourmet and craft shops will appear, making it a day where you can eat, play, and fully enjoy the ultimate summer. Organized by Kahoku Town General Exchange Center Sahato Benibana, with production handled by the "Let's Heat Up Yamagata!" Project.
