"Tsuchiura Halloween 2026" will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2026, in the area around Tsuchiura Station in Tsuchiura City, Ibaraki Prefecture. Based at Arcus Tsuchiura Square, a program will be held where participants can enjoy their own unique costumes. The main highlight is a lively "Costume Parade" marching along the station-front street. In addition, there will be a "Machi Walk Stamp Rally" where you can visit cooperating local shopping street shops to receive sweets while enjoying a walk through town. At the end of the event, a "Costume Grand Prix Award Ceremony" will be held to honor outstanding costumes, making it an enjoyable experience throughout the day. Eligibility is for "costumed persons" up to 15 years old, limited to the first 150 applicants (advance registration required), with an entry fee of 1,000 yen. Applications start on Wednesday, September 30, 2026 at 12:00 PM via the reservation form on the official website. This event colors the autumn streets of Tsuchiura in costume and can be enjoyed by children and families alike.
