The Joso Co-op Festival, held at the Joso Co-op Headquarters, is a valuable opportunity for direct exchange between producers, union members, and the general public. Thirty-nine producers will bring their pride-and-joy items for sale, offering a wide variety of goods including roast pork, croquettes, bread, peanut cream, simmered beans, jams, seaweed products, frozen Japanese sweets, honey, processed marine products, chilled cup beverages, kamaboko fish cakes, mochi rice cakes, gyoza dumplings, fish cake pastes, bagels, ham, sausages, steamed meat buns, tsukudani, rice, black tea, confectionery, seasonings, beverages, shijimi clams, asari clams, chirimen dried fish, curry, nuts, dried fruits, soaps, cosmetics, protein tea, and dairy products. In addition, there will be a quiz rally for both adults and children, as well as a gift giveaway using flyer lottery tickets. Panel exhibits such as 'Plastic-Free Club' and 'What is Chemical Sensitivity / Fragrance Harm?' will be displayed alongside an exhibit introducing the history of Joso Co-op. Furthermore, workshops for cotton ginning and crafts using Japanese cotton harvested from the co-op fields, as well as events highlighting the benefits of eco-friendly soaps, are planned. On the day, following the 10:00 festival start, rock-paper-scissors tournaments with the mascot 'Kosuke' will be held around 11:00 and 13:00, complete with prizes. Starting at 11:30, attendees can also enjoy the 'Kizunamaki' sushi roll experience (advance registration required, first-come first-served) together with rice producer Mr. Kurosawa. There will also be chances to meet the popular character 'Kosuke' at the venue.
