20th Municipal Anniversary Event: MIRAI Lively Sports DAY

Commemorating the 20th anniversary of the municipal organization of Tsukubamirai City, "MIRAI Lively Sports DAY" is a free sports event aimed at uniting the local community across generations. A variety of activities are prepared for the whole family to enjoy, from small children to seniors. Everyone is welcome, whether you regularly enjoy sports, want to try a new sport, or simply want to join a fun event. The event will feature 3x3 basketball exhibition games and hands-on sports sessions conducted with the cooperation of professional sports teams such as Ibaraki Robots and Tsukuba United SunGAIA. In addition, participants can casually experience a wide variety of sports, including walking football, Aikido experience, soft tennis, mini soccer matches, dribble time runs, Snag Golf, Molkky, Target Bird Golf, flying disc for people with disabilities, and pickleball. Furthermore, booths useful for health promotion and self-analysis will be set up, such as a fun lottery (stamp rally style), physical fitness tests, bone health measurements, Veggie Check, and smile checks. Four food trucks are also scheduled to open to satisfy your appetite, offering a full day of enjoyment.
