RYOMO SAUCE FESTIVAL 2026

About this event

'RYOMO SAUCE FESTIVAL 2026' is a gourmet event held in Ashikaga City, Tochigi Prefecture. You can enjoy the food culture and delicacies rooted in the Ryomo area. At this festival, 10 booths will be set up serving popular sauce-based gourmet foods in the Ryomo area, including local Sano 'imo fry' (fried potatoes), sauce katsudon, yakisoba, and Ashikaga shumai. In addition, the Sauce Company Zone will feature booths from Tsukiboshi Foods Co., Ltd., Hayakawa Foods Co., Ltd., Otafuku Sauce Co., Ltd., and others, introducing a wide variety of sauces. Furthermore, in the Railway and Culture Zone, visitors can enjoy kimono and textile sales, kimono dress-up experiences, and a JR East Train Simulator experience (paid, advance registration required). A quiz rally will also be held at the venue, giving those with correct answers the right to participate in a lottery to win novelty items and more. The event is organized by East Japan Railway Company Takasaki Branch, Tobu Railway Co., Ltd., and the Ryomo Line Along-the-Line Nonbiri Liaison Council.
