About this event
"Taka Pota vol.8," held in Takanezawa Town, Tochigi Prefecture, is a pottering (casual cycling) event where participants cycle through rural landscapes while enjoying autumn delicacies. Participants can choose from three courses: "Yuru Pota" (approx. 30 km), mainly on flat terrain for families and beginners; "Oka Pota" (approx. 55 km), for intermediate riders ready to tackle moderate ups and downs; and "Saka Pota" (approx. 80 km), for advanced riders featuring inclines exceeding a maximum gradient of 15%. From among the "Saka Pota" participants, a "Saka Pota Expert Team" to sprint up the hills with full effort will also be recruited. A major highlight is enjoying Takanezawa Town's gourmet food at each aid station.
