"Kita no Megumi Asahikawa Tabe Marche" is a gourmet food event that colors autumn in Asahikawa. Spanning from JR Asahikawa Station to Heiwa-dori Shopping Park, the venue gathers a wide variety of foods from across Northern Hokkaido under one roof. It is a special 3-day event where the entire town turns into a "feast market" offering ingredients rich in local charm and specially crafted dishes. Held annually in September during the period that includes Respect for the Aged Day, it provides an opportunity to fully savor the culinary appeal of Asahikawa as a major autumn signature event.
