On the first day, Saturday, September 12, a training camp will be held to teach skills essential for adventure racing, such as navigation, mountain biking, paddling, and ropework. Masato Tanaka of East Wind, well-known from the TV show "Crazy Journey," will serve as the instructor and provide attentive guidance to each participant. A talk show by Mr. Tanaka is also scheduled for the evening, making it a valuable opportunity to touch the world of adventure racing. On the following day, Sunday, September 13, the "Treasure Adventure," which can be enjoyed even by beginners, will take place. This is a treasure-hunting sport where participants rely on a map and compass to find checkpoints, using mountain bikes, walking, and paddling with teammates to reach the goal. Because participants decide their own routes, it is truly an adventure. Family and Challenge classes are available, allowing you to enjoy team challenges and quizzes related to Takayama Village. Solo participation is also welcome, with arrangements available from the organizers to form teams. This is the ideal event for those who want to play to their heart's content in the great outdoors and try new experiences.
