The "41st Kasukabe City Showa Area Industrial Festival," held on Sunday, November 1, 2026 at Residential Park SHOWA (Showa General Park) and the Showa General Branch Office, is an event where local charm and Kasukabe gourmet food come together. At Residential Park SHOWA, the outdoor venue, plans for children and adults to enjoy include exhibitions, test rides, and photo sessions with police cars, motorcycle police bikes, fire engines, and ambulances, as well as a roof-raising ceremony (jotoshiki), commercial markets/gourmet stalls, food truck stalls, sales of locally grown vegetables, exhibition and sale of industrial woodworking products, Showa-grown rice grab challenge, knife sharpening and cutting board planing, and scratch lottery draws. At the Showa General Branch Office, the indoor venue, a wooden piggy bank crafting workshop and administrative consultations will be held. The event will proceed rain or shine, though some content may be subject to change in the event of rain. Through various activities utilizing local characteristics, the event aims to let visitors fully experience the charms of Kasukabe.
