National Local Soba Festival in Sugito 2026 is a soba event where renowned local soba noodles from all over Japan gather in one place. Shops from all regions, from Hokkaido to Kyushu, will offer their proud flavors nurtured in their respective regions. The major appeal is being able to compare and taste the distinct aroma, throat feel, and firmness of noodles from different production regions all at once. Following great acclaim during its 2013 edition, the event has been scheduled for autumn 2026. Visitors can thoroughly enjoy bowls crafted with devotion through the daily practice of soba artisans. A free shuttle bus will also operate at the venue for convenient access. It promises to be a day to savor local soba from across Japan in Sugito during autumn.
