About this event

Held in Satte City, Saitama Prefecture, the "19th Satte Red Spider Lily Festival" is an event where you can enjoy the spectacular sight of approximately 3 million red spider lilies in full bloom, dyeing the Gongendo Park embankment in deep crimson. Flowering around the autumn equinox and also known as higanbana, planting began in 2000 (Heisei 12), and their numbers have grown significantly today. Following cherry blossoms, hydrangeas, and sunflowers, you can fully enjoy the beautiful transition of nature across the four seasons at Gongendo Embankment.
