Animal Welfare Festival 2026 in Chiba

In conjunction with Animal Welfare Week, Chiba City will hold the "Animal Welfare Festival 2026 in Chiba - Living Together with Living Animals" to deepen interest in and understanding of animal welfare and proper pet keeping. Stage events are scheduled to include an animal doctor experience, demonstrations by assistance dogs, police dogs, and JAHA therapy dogs, a talk show by Noriko Imanishi, a community cat seminar, an award ceremony for long-lived animals, an award ceremony for the beloved dog and cat photo contest, and an animal memorial service. In addition, at each organization's booth, visitors can enjoy a quiz rally, an animal true-or-false quiz, pet care consultations, community cat consultations, a pet disaster prevention corner, and Wanwan Patrol activity reports. Admission is free, and no application is required.
