ROCK IN JAPAN FESTIVAL 2026

About this event

Over a total of five days—Saturday, September 12; Sunday, September 13; Saturday, September 19; Sunday, September 20; and Monday (public holiday), September 21, 2026—ROCK IN JAPAN FESTIVAL 2026 will be held at Chiba City Soga Sports Park. This festival is a popular summer music festival that brings together many music fans, marking its fifth year since moving its venue to Chiba City Soga Sports Park. Following the previous four editions, all dates have sold out early due to overwhelming popularity. At the venue, in addition to energetic live performances by artists, attendees can enjoy diverse gourmet dishes in a food area featuring more than 80 stalls. Booths selling a wide lineup of official festival merchandise—from standard T-shirts and towels to items that boost the festival mood—as well as performing artists' merchandise will be available, creating a space to enjoy all day long. A venue map is also published, pursuing high comfort and ease of navigation across the grounds. For access, it is about a 15-minute walk from JR Soga Station, or visitors can use free shuttle buses operating from JR Chiba Station, Chiba-Minato Station, and Keisei Line Chibadera Station. Tickets are completely sold out for all dates, and official resale has ended. Because identity verification via facial recognition is conducted upon entry, ticket transfers between attendees are strictly prohibited.
