The 13th Kimi-Con, organized by the Youth Division of the Kimitsu Chamber of Commerce and Industry, will be held on Sunday, October 11, 2026. This event is a Kimitsu version of 'machi-con' designed to offer matchmaking opportunities while revitalizing the local area of Kimitsu City. It boasts a track record with an average match rate exceeding 40% every year. The venue is 'BBQ OASIS' next to Kimitsu no Yu, located about a 10-minute drive from the station. Participants can casually look for a match while enjoying barbecue. There is no dress code, allowing you to join in a casual atmosphere, but shoes that you do not mind getting dirty are recommended as the ground may become muddy depending on the weather. Eligibility is open to currently single individuals aged 20 to 40, with a capacity of 40 men and 40 women. The participation fee is 10,000 yen for men and 3,000 yen for women. The application period runs from Friday, July 10 to Sunday, September 13, 2026, though additional recruitment or an extension of the period is possible depending on response. Men must apply in pairs of two, while women may apply individually. If applications exceed capacity, a lottery will be held, with results scheduled to be notified around mid-September. The event will take place in light rain, but will be canceled in the event of severe weather or strong winds, in which case the participation fee will be fully refunded.
