The Toyouke Shrine Autumn Festival will be held on Sunday, October 11, 2026, at Toyouke Shrine in Nekozane, Urayasu City, Chiba Prefecture. The hours are from 10:30 AM to 3:30 PM. Taking place on the grounds of Toyouke Shrine, the event features food stalls, festival fair booths, a stage showcasing traditional performing arts such as ohayashi (festival music), sato-kagura (village Shinto dances), and gagaku (ancient imperial court music), as well as children's portable shrine (kodomo mikoshi) processions scheduled for around 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM. Food stalls will sell items such as fried eggs, yakisoba fried noodles, and drinks, while the festival fair offers activities like bouncy ball scooping and street performances. Children can participate in the children's mikoshi in everyday clothes, and participating children will receive presents. The main shrine portable shrine (miya mikoshi) of Toyouke Shrine is also scheduled to be displayed on the grounds during the day. The festival will proceed in light rain, but in the event of rain it will be postponed to the following day, Monday, October 12 (public holiday). It is a community festival that families can enjoy, offering a touch of traditional Urayasu festival culture.
