The 20th Akemi-no-Oka Festival will be held on October 10, 2026, at Akemi-no-Oka Park in Akemi, Urayasu City, Chiba Prefecture. Celebrating its 20th anniversary this year under the theme '20th Anniversary: Connecting and Expanding at Akemi-no-Oka,' the festival features stage performances by local groups, festival games, and food stalls. Students from Akemi Junior High School will also participate for the first time as a school event, presenting riddle-solving games, cheer dancing, hula dancing, and Yosakoi dances on the main stage. In the evening, Bon Odori dancing will be held, and a special 20th-anniversary commemorative finale event is scheduled from 19:30. Over 30 food trucks and vendors will offer pizza, crepes, alcoholic drinks, and other refreshments. There is also an opportunity for 4th to 6th grade elementary school students to work as 'Kids Stall Staff' to experience running festival stalls. The festival runs from 11:00 to 20:00, and will be postponed to the following day, October 11, in case of severe weather. No parking is available at the venue, so arriving on foot is recommended.
