About this event
Held with prayers for restoration and recovery from successive disasters across Chiba Prefecture, "CHIBA LANTERN NIGHT" is a magical event themed around "100 Wishes Sent to the Chiba Sky," in which 100 lanterns carrying participants' individual wishes and thoughts for their loved ones are released together into the night sky. Lanterns cost 5,000 yen each, and up to 2 people can participate per lantern. Applications are accepted via a dedicated reservation website. The event will proceed in light rain, but will be cancelled in severe weather. The venue is Resol no Mori, with easy access approximately 5 minutes from the Mobara-Nagara Smart IC on the Metropolitan Inter-City Expressway. Parking is free.
