About this event
Organized by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Bureau of Port and Harbor, the "Umi-no-Mori Park Autumn Umi-no-Mori Festival" is a family-friendly event held in nature-rich Umi-no-Mori Park with the arrival of autumn. On the day, visitors can interact with cute animals at the petting zoo, get active with sports experiences like Dodgebee, and play to their heart's content on bouncy inflatables. In addition, craft workshops using materials collected within Umi-no-Mori Park will nurture creativity. Furthermore, you can enjoy time with your dog in the vast dog run of approximately 1 hectare. As part of the event, tree-growing experiences (such as vine removal) to protect and nurture the trees of Umi-no-Mori Park, as well as an environmental education program by insect YouTuber Daiki Mushioka, will be held. In the tree-growing experience, you can take part in activities to protect the park's nature alongside Umi-no-Mori Park volunteers, while the environmental education program lets you learn about the relationship between humans and insects. These programs require advance application and participants are selected by lottery. There will also be opportunities for Umi-no-Mori Junior Rangers to explain the origin and wildlife of Umi-no-Mori Park. On the day of the event, special free shuttle buses will operate for convenient access. Please enjoy a special day of connecting with nature, learning, and hands-on experiences at Umi-no-Mori Park in autumn.
