Shinagawa Bon Fest 2026

About this event

Held as a commemorative project for the 80th anniversary of Shinagawa Ward's administration, 'Shinagawa Bon Fest 2026' is an event centered around Bon Odori dancing at Oi Racecourse. Visitors can also enjoy markets and stage events hosted by partnering municipalities and organizations. On Saturday, October 31, 'Odore! Chara-Bon' will be held, and on Sunday, November 1, a 'Ghibli Medley Live' by Azumi Inoue & Yuyu and a performance of 'Shinagawa Ondo' by Kumi Iwamoto are scheduled as special guests. Throughout both days, inter-regional exchanges through Bon Odori and stage performances by groups within the ward will take place, accompanied by delicious food stalls and local specialty markets. An admission ticket to Tokyo Mega Illumination is required, priced at 1,600 yen on the day (1,300 yen in advance) for adults and 900 yen on the day (700 yen in advance) for children (elementary, junior high, and high school students). The event will be held rain or shine, and arriving by public transportation is recommended.
