Held along the canals in Shinagawa Ward, Tokyo, the "Shinagawa Waterfront Tourism Festa 2026 (including Autumn Canal Fireworks Festival)" is a large-scale event that illuminates autumn nights along the urban waterfront. On Saturday, October 10, 2026, approximately 8,000 fireworks will be launched, drawing crowds around Higashi-Shinagawa Kaijo Park and Tennozu Park. The fireworks are scheduled to be launched from 19:00 to 19:30. The overall event runs from Friday, October 9 to Sunday, October 11, from 11:00 to 21:00. During the day, a wide variety of activities for families will be held, including a petting zoo, rickshaws, E-boat experiences, Mega SUP cruises, and mystery-solving events. On Sunday, October 11, pony riding, a hot air balloon experience, K-1 beetle battles, and Japan Self-Defense Forces VR experiences will also be offered. Gourmet food stalls and the "Music Herb Garden" music event will also appear, allowing visitors to fully enjoy a holiday by the water. The biggest highlight is the approximately 8,000 fireworks coloring the night sky and canal on Saturday, October 10, which can be enjoyed in various viewing styles such as reserved seats and yakatabune (houseboat) plans. Paid seating is also available, with all-reserved seating in Area B (Central Entrance) priced at 3,500 yen.
