About this event

As part of the "TOKYO Design Manhole Digital Rally" touring anime and manga design manholes across Tokyo, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government is hosting a design manhole replica exhibition and pop-up talk show at Anime Tokyo Station. In this event, full-scale replicas of design manholes from across Tokyo will be exhibited, allowing visitors to appreciate their appeal up close. Admission is free and no advance reservation is required, so anyone is free to visit. Furthermore, on October 4, a talk show titled "Discover with Dandy Sakano! The Deep World of Manholes Taught by an Enthusiast" will take place. Featuring guests Dandy Sakano and manhole enthusiast Shoji Morimoto, the talk show will explore the profound world of design manholes. The talk show requires advance registration, with 90 participants selected by lottery. The digital rally itself runs until March 31, 2027 (Reiwa 9), allowing participants to enter prize drawings based on points earned.
